TSD Snoring Mouthpiece
The Aveo TSD snoring mouthpiece is one of the more expensive devices that will cost between $130 to $150. It is made from a soft medical silicone that helps to make it more comfortable. This device will hold the tongue forward through a gentle form of suction to help keep it from falling back into the throat and blocking the airway.
This snoring mouthpiece was designed by a New Zealand orthodontist to help treat and cure both snoring and people who suffer from sleep apnea. It has been approved by the FDA in New Zealand for treating against snoring. It is a non invasive device that does not require you to mold it to your mouth. Instead it comes in one size that is supposed to fit the average sized mouth.
There are no apparent or extreme side effects to using the TSD snoring mouthpiece. Since May of 2006 more then 5,000 people have been using it and most only complained of minor issues when first starting to use it.
The most common issue that people experienced was a slight discomfort when they wore it throughout the night. They felt that their mouths and cheeks were sore and in a small amount of pain. To help fix this problem the Aveo TSD suggests that new users wear it for only ten minutes every night to help grow accustomed to the feeling of wearing it while they sleep.
Pros: Many people felt that this snoring mouthpiece was one of the few products on the market that they could easily use. It is small and lightweight enough to carry with them wherever they go and is easy enough to clean.
Cons: The number one problem people had with it is how difficult it can be to wear it if you have an unusually large mouth or tongue. There is slight discomfort – but some are able to get past this after a few days or a couple of weeks.
